Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, held a  closed door meeting on Thursday with Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, and Nyesom Wike , the Rivers State Governor in London..

Also in meeting were Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, former Cross River State Governor, Donald Duke, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State.

The content of the meeting was not released or made known to the media.

Since the end of PDP Party primary election and convention, the governor of Rivers State, Wike who could not grab the party’s nomination has been in logged head with the emerged flagbearer of PDP, Abubakar Atiku. This has open door for other presidential candidates from different parties to seek his friendship and collaboration for the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

Peter Obi is scheduled to be in Germany tomorrow to speak to Nigerians in Diaspora and from there he will proceed to USA to meet Nigerians in North America.
