Ekiti Governorship Election: Who succeeds Governor Kayode Fayemi

The D-day is here and casting of ballot papers have just began at Ekiti State on who will succeeds the outgoing Governor Kayode Fayemi . The expected voters of Ekiti State at over 749,000 votes will make that decision today.

The major political parties for Ekiti governorship election are APC, PDP, SDP and 13 other parties including ADC and YPP.


The candidate for All Progressives Congress, APC is Biodun Oyebanji and for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP is Bisi Kolawole. Chief Segun Oni is the candidate for Social Democratic Party, SDP.


Dr Wole Oluyede is the candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC and the candidate for the Young Progressives Party, YPP is Debo Ajayi, while the Action Peoples Party, ADP, candidate is Prince Adeyinka Alli.
