G7 Governors; ‘Leisure of the Sahara’

G7 Governors

President Goodluck Jonathan must be savoring thus poem by Kwesi Brew:,

“To appear before you,

We left our corn in the barn,

And unprepared we follow,

Our children begged for water,

From the woman, wearing golden gown,

On her head,

‘Those whom you love and respected mocked you to your FACE’.

The macabre dance, acrobatic displays, comic scenes been display by

the G7 Governors [mostly from the Sahara North of Nigeria] to

President Goodluck Jonathan might be a ‘Leisure of the Sahara’, after

all, the effect of sand dunes, oasis, dust bowl must contributed to

the Northern Governors involving themselves in a ‘broken bottle has no

MEKOTARISM’ – Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe

The alleged one-term pact entered into with the Northerners by President Goodluck Jonathan, which is yet to be proved, is surely what GEJ needed to silence these unrepentant G7 Governors, Jonathan has magnanimously kept quiet as regards the Speaker of the Nigeria House of Representatives that comes from the same zone as the Vice-President of Nigeria [North-West], a situation the North will NEVER accepted if it were different.

By over appeasing the Northern Oligarchy, in the name of securing his much touted Second term bid, GEJ has gone too meek . The South-West has been allowed to wallow in non-representation and no hue nor cry was heard nor raised. I have begin to wonder why the North Oligarchy is hell bent in sabotaging, name calling, fanning embers of violence, creating insecurity, and total absurdity for GEJ  administration.

When Shehu Sanni challenged the Northern States governors to account for close to N7 Trillion naira they collected fr\om the federal allocation, the Northern Oligarchy kept mute!

Let Rivers State governor, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi come to terms with GEJ, settled their political differences and bickering, come together and forge a common goal. Enough of these rancor, bickering, and name callings. The South South will be better off, if these two powerful individuals come together to tame the Northern Oligarchy appetite for Nigeria NO1 office, as it seems it is their political birthright and heritage.

And as for former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar who has lost hispolitical relevance and has being confined to the dust bin, he is just ‘Cloud without Waters’.

Rotimi Amaechi and Nyesson Wike are both Ikwerres,’Ikwerre nmeka o’, so these two political horse cannot be a sworn enemy for life. Let the recalcitrant Northern Governors enjoy the ‘Leisure of the Sahara’, but kIndly come to term with your home boy, Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi.

Breathe ‘Fresh Air’ to River State and the hot Sahara Desert wind rail road the Northern Governors to dust bowl, and bury them in sand dunes! Most of the G7 Governors are rounding off their second term and not coming back to their various Government Houses, so they have nothing to,loose, their actions and in-actions may consume you like a termite!

Remember; “He who drives himself further when the effort gets painful is the WINNER!”
