Israel Adesanya, the 33-year-old Nigerian-born and the current UFC middleweight crown champion, who reclaimed his title last Sunday by knocking out old rival Alex Pereira, said he love his fellow Nigerians but detested corruption in the country. He made this known while speaking on a Hotboxin podcast, on Tuesday.

His words: “Nigeria is a very corrupt place. I love my people, but it is just that the government, everyone is finding ways to siphon money.”

Adesanya currently resides in New Zealand.
