JACOB OLU @ 80: The Best among the Best.

Jacob Olu is the man that needs no introduction. OLu is the best among the best. He is among those that have transformed the institution of film and theatre in Nigeria to a respectful profession. Olu is talented, dedicated and hardworking. When he picked a role in movies or theatre he got so much into the character, that audience get convinced that it is real. The divide between reality and fiction are blurred as he showcase his skill of acting in a movie. His influence in this sphere of his specialization cannot be overemphasized as he captured on the screen the magic and imagination of acting with brilliant visual interpretation

His experience and longevity of over 40 years buttressed his love and dedication to acting career. He has appeared in so many British and foreign films; as he came back to Nigeria, he used his enriched experience to bolster Nigeria film industry and Nollywood in particular. The newer generation must learn from his hardworking and skill that he brought to the field of film and theatre.

At age of 80 years, AFRIPOL, Nigeria and Africa thank you for your enormous contributions to this unique area of human endeavor. Happy Birthday Sir and many more years!
