Jagaban Wins ! Tinubu obtained over 50% votes, over 1,000 votes

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and former governor of Lagos State  has won APC presidential primary election held in Abuja.

Tinubu won over 1,271 compared to his  closest rivals, Chibuike  Amaechi and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

Amaechi obtained  316 votes, while Osinbajo with  235 votes in third place.

In the course of the convention, many contestants dropped from the field and handing over their support and votes to Tinubu. Those were Governor Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa, Robert Boroffice, Ken Nnamani, Ibikunle Amosun, Dimeji Bankole, Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi and Godswill Akpabio and Mrs Uju Ken-Ohanenye, the only female in the race.
