Peter Obi/Datti makes History! The First Presidential Team to visit Boko Haram ravaged region of Southern Borno

January 26, 2023 by AFRIPOL Leave a Comment

Remember Chibok, where 276 school girls were abducted from their  secondary school by Boko Haram in Southern Borno  was where Peter Obi and his deputy Ahmed Datti paid an unexpected and surprised visit.

The natives of Southern Borno including people of  Chibok, Gwoza, Hawul, Askira Uba and the entire nine Local Government Areas were amazed to see the political convoy.

When the labour Party flag bearer, Obi pledged he was going to be the president of all Nigerians, he meant what he promised. To take his political campaign into the valley of terrorism shows courage and vision of strength, commitment and accountability.

Speaking to the people, Obi said, “I am one of you and feel your plight. I know that you are all hard working and want to go back to your farms. I am giving you my word that this insecurity issue will be a thing of the past in my administration and I will ensure that my government gives you the best of life. Thank you for everything you have done for the country and I will never forget you. A new Nigeria is possible!”

Obi and Datti were accompanied by the governorship candidate for Labour Party in Borno state, Captain Ibrahim Mshelia and many  Labour Party bigwigs including Labour  Chairman, Julius Abure, Deputy National Campaign Manager, Isaac Balami, Professor Pat Utomi, activist Aisha Yusuf and many others.
