Former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan On How Obama Made Him Lose Election to Buhari | Mwakilishi.com

The excitement has been tamed and pandemonium quenched by Ex-President Jonathan by rejecting the summons by All Progressive Congress APC to be enlisted for presidential nomination. An interest group in APC has bought a N100 million presidential form on behalf of Jonathan without his consent.

The former President Jonathan spokesman Ikechukwu Eze issued a statement and said that the former president “was not aware of this bid and did not authorize it. We want to state that if the former president wanted to contest an election, he would make his intentions clear to the public and will not enter through the back door.”

The statement further stated: “While we appreciate the overwhelming request by a cross-section of Nigerians, for Dr Jonathan to make himself available for the 2023 presidential election, we wish to state that he has not in any way, committed himself to this request.”

With a conclusion of a rejection saying, “We wish to categorically state that Dr Jonathan was not aware of this bid and did not authorise it.”
